My last post was on 31st March and today is 24th October. Whoa! That is quite a long time. This one was long due. But as someone said, it's never too late.
Well... I was just busy with my engagement, shopping, wedding, honeymoon and setting up the house (in that order). What a nice period! And it just went away in a wink. Quite tiring with all the running around for the sarees. Then the umpteen tailor visits for the perfect blouses. Teeny weeny shopping lists. The last minute ticket reservations. The arguments for a honeymoon destination.
Then the wedding in itself was a task. And that is when your wedding is just one out of the hundreds on that morning at Guruvayoor. Am sure that our families would never want any other kids to get married there. :) Frantic visits to temples, relatives' houses and journeys... And the end of it home sweet home at Chennai.
Packing again for Goa the next day was a little tiresome. And this time it was a pain to dig out the favorite shorts or capris from the dump of clothes already strewn around. Setting up the house after the return was also quite a task. And I forgot to mention about the regular cooking. Cooking has a special mention in my life because, one, I do not enjoy cooking and second, my husband's a better cook than me. Lucky me. ;)
And then lo! I suddenly realize yesterday that its our second month anniversary of marriage. Time sure does fly. Now resuming office work by 11 am after all the household chores and then back to them by 7 pm has become a routine. Life just goes on... Or rather life runs at a high speed...
